Terms of service

Effective date:

These terms apply to the dvnt apps (the account app and the apps at *.dvnt.app), run by dvnt. By using them you accept these terms. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.

1. Access

dvnt is invite-only. You need a Google account and an invitation or approved access request. Access may be limited to some apps or to a period of time, and may be revoked at any time. openGym (gym.dvnt.app) is the exception: it has its own profiles, created with an invite code from the administrator, who may also remove a profile.

2. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attacks, scraping, overloading or attempts to get around access controls. Don't forge data, tokens or links, and don't impersonate other people, including through your username. The administrator may change a username that impersonates someone or the platform. Don't use the service for anything illegal, or share content through it that is unlawful or harms others.

3. Your content

What you enter (game data, the names you type, notes and the rest) belongs to you. You give us only the permission needed to store and show it to provide the features you use, for example displaying a game to people you share a link with. You are responsible for what you share, including other people's names.

4. Usernames and friends

Your username is public to other dvnt users who type it exactly. Share your friend link or QR code only with people you want to hear from: anyone who has it can send you a friend request. Friendships can be archived but not removed.

Share an online table's link or code only with people you want at the table. Play online games yourself: no bots, scripts or tools that read or alter the game.

Games played nearby. In a nearby game the host's phone runs the table and knows every hand, and nothing checks the players' accounts while offline: play nearby with people you trust. These games aren't verified at once; the host's friends at the table approve them once the host is online.

5. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may change, be interrupted or lose data; keep your own exports of anything important.

6. Limited liability

To the extent the law allows, dvnt is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be waived.

7. Termination

You can stop using dvnt at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop running the service.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.
